INFORMATION FOR PARENTS OF P4 - P7 CHILDREN

Computer - Based Assessment (CBA)

 

 

P4-P7 children will be taking part in the new Computer-Based Assessment from CCEA. This will take place in school during October.

 

NINA is the Northern Ireland Numeracy Assessment which assesses pupilsí numeracy skills across two strands:

 

Understanding and Using Number; and Shape and Space, Measures and Handling Data.

 

NILA is the Northern Ireland Literacy Assessment which assesses pupilsí literacy skills in reading, writing and listening.  If you have access to the internet at home and you would like to view the practice areas please follow the links below.

Children will have the opportunity to practise in school over the few weeks. Please note that the questions in the practice area are general. In the assessment the questions will be set according to the childrenís age range and ability.
